In order to help keep MSC members up to date with the going ons of the club, you can subscribe to our RSS feed.

What is a RSS feed?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.
RSS is the format for distributing news and other web content. When you put content into RSS and send that content to other people or websites, it's called a feed.”
So when you subscribe to our feed, and the web site gets updated, you can quickly and easily check for updates made to the web site from your web browser. If there is any information that interests you just click on it to get the full article.

This process will work best if you read over these directions a couple of times, make notes if needed, and proceed with the following.

Setting Up a RSS Feed Subscription
with Windows Internet Explorer


Click on the MSC News tab to the left.

On the MSC News page, there is a RSS icon to the lower left of the window. It looks like

Click on the icon/RSS Feed text.

You will see a list of the headlines on the front page of the site.

Now to make checking easy. Part of the window you see should like similar to the one pictured above. Click on the Subscribe to this fee.

Click on the subscribe button. You have now subscribed to the RSS feed.

How does this help me you ask. When you launch IE there is a star icon in the toolbar under the left arrow button.

Click on the star icon.

Click on the Feeds button.

Now there is a list of the RSS feeds you have subscribed to. In this case I only am subscribed to MSC Feed, if you have or had any others they will all appear here. If there are any new articles posted, they will be indicated next to the MSC RSS Feed text. You can 2x click on it and a summary of each article will come up. To read the full article, just simply click on the text of the article.
